Premier Tickets and Advertisement

To promote the premier for our trailer, we decided to create fake movie tickets to distribute to our peers that met our target audience, we thought that this would entice and encourage them to attend our premier.

For the premier we created a power point to introduce the film. In the powerpoint we explained the narrative, and presented both our magazine cover and poster, we did this so that everything would be clear to the audience before they watched the trailer.

Poster Font Decisions

As a group we decided to use a simple font on the majority of the poster as we felt that it if we were to use an eccentric font, the focus would be taken away from the more important elements, such as the main image, the smoke graphic and the title.
The pull quote is done in block capitals, this was done to draw an appropriate amount of attention to, we also had the ‘run’ in white to put emphasis on the aspect of running away and escaping the villain.
The credits are placed at the bottom of the poster in a much smaller font as we saw that this was done in most horror film posters, below this we have the date in a large font as this is an important aspect of the poster.
The film title is large and in a completely different font, originally we had it the same font as the rest of the text on the poster, but we then felt that we should go for a font that relates to our narrative. We chose an oriental style as our protagonist villain is based on a oriental urban legend . Due to that fact that our model doesn't have oriental features, we felt that it was imperative to have the font this way so that there would be a clear link.
